Warranty and Return Policy Information

Returns

For most returns and exchanges, cComputer Tech is happy to honor a return period. Any hardware purchased from and sold by cComputer Tech (does not include resold items) is subject to a full refund if returned with complete packaging and printed receipt within 7 days of purchase. If returned within 14 days of purchase, they are granted a store credit for the full value. Beyond 14 days any defective items are to be handled with the product manufacturer. Resold hardware will be subjected to cComputer Tech’s return discretion. Services provided are non-refundable. We warranty all repairs for a maximum of 7 days. Systems with the same issue within 30 days will be granted a 50% discount off their next repair. Beyond 30 days of repair, all services are treated as new work.

A 15% restocking fee up to $100 applies in all cases in these categories:
  • Desktops
  • Laptops
  • Tablets
Orders include a 15% (up to $100) non-refundable deposit. If an order is canceled, the 15% deposit is applied to the cost of returning the item(s) to our vendor.
Custom ordered device return and support process. Custom devices are not part of the return period. Custom configured purchase returns must include a consultation with the store’s hardware procurement specialist {Casey Talbert – (719) 285-7044 or casey@ccomputertech.com}. Custom device orders require several steps for authorization of return or exchange because of their uniqueness and will not be immediately processed without consulting the vendor agreement with cComputer Tech.
The products that require further support before authorizing a return or exchange after purchase are:
  • Both custom and in-store laptops, desktops, and workstations
  • Custom Apple laptops, desktops, and workstations
  • Custom configured Dell laptops and desktops
  • Dell tablets
  • Dell laptops from the cComputer Tech inventory
  • All networking devices
  • All additional technology order
  • All accessories that were included in the E-Quote when building a customer device order, such as docking stations or adapters that were ordered through our vendor
Orders must be returned through cComputer Tech. Do not go directly to vendors for returns and replacements. cComputer Tech must handle all returns in order to ensure proper credit and replacement delivery. To request a hardware return, call cComputer Tech at (719) 285-7044 or bring the item to be returned to the store.

Refunds

  • Personal credit card refunds will be applied to your credit card
  • Checks will be mailed for cash refunds, this normally takes 3-4 weeks
  • Departmental refunds will be credited to your account
