Warranty and Return Policy Information

 

Returns

For most returns and exchanges, cComputer Tech honors a limited return period. Hardware purchased directly from cComputer Tech may qualify for a full refund if returned with complete packaging and a printed receipt within 7 days of purchase.

 

Items returned within 14 days of purchase are eligible for bill credit. After 14 days, defective items must be handled through the product manufacturer.

 

Resold hardware items are subject to return approval at the discretion of cComputer Tech.

 

Services provided by cComputer Tech are non-refundable. Repairs are covered by a limited 7-day warranty. 

 

Restocking Fees

A 15% restocking fee may apply to returns in the following categories:

  • Desktops
  • Laptops
  • Tablets
  • Servers
  • Custom Orders

 

Orders may include a 15% deposit. If an order is canceled, the deposit may be applied to the cost of returning the item to the vendor.

 

Custom Orders

Custom ordered devices are not included in the standard return period. Returns or exchanges for custom configurations require consultation first.

Refund Processing

  • Credit card refunds will be returned to the original card.
  • Cash/Check refunds will be issued by mailed check, typically within 3–4 weeks.
  • Departmental refunds will be credited directly to the associated account.
