The help button runs a package of scripts that collects certain technical information to help diagnose and resolve your issue quickly.

The system may collect the following information:

  • Currently logged in user account
  • Computer name and hardware identifiers
  • Screenshots of your current screen and recent actions (up to approximately 30 actions)
  • Network and WiFi connection information and diagnostics
  • Hardware status and system diagnostics
  • Running processes
  • Recent event viewer logs
  • Recent website history
  • Custom scripts or diagnostic information added by our helpdesk

Our goal is to respect and maintain your privacy while gathering only the essential information required to diagnose and resolve your issue effectively.

No information is transmitted to our systems until you submit your problem details through the help interface.

If you have any questions regarding the information collected, please feel free to contact us and we will be happy to assist you.

User Responsibility

When submitting information through the help button interface, it is the responsibility of the end user to ensure that private or confidential information is not submitted unintentionally.

While we take precautions to securely store any information collected outside of our ticketing system, regulations such as HIPAA, SOX, and other federal data-protection standards still apply to information knowingly transmitted through telecommunications systems.

Please ensure that appropriate agreements and documentation are in place with your organization before submitting any potentially confidential information.
