Privacy Policy

Effective October 6, 2026 | Revision 2026-10-06.1

This notice explains how cComputer Tech, LLC handles personal information in connection with our website, customer inquiries, device drop-offs, repairs, and support services. Personal information can include technical identifiers and information in support records, not just your name.

Contact us with privacy questions or requests at info@ccomputertech.com or (719) 239-0477. Please do not send passwords, complete payment-card details, or unnecessary sensitive files in ordinary email.

Information we collect and why

  • Customer and contact information: names, business or organization details, phone numbers, email and mailing addresses, and account contacts. We use these to respond to inquiries, arrange service, identify the correct account, and communicate about work.
  • Service and transaction records: estimates, approvals, invoices, payment status, correspondence, device type and serial number, reported issues, condition, accessories, technician notes, and any signature or verbal-approval record provided during intake. We use these to perform and document requested services, handle billing and warranty questions, and maintain business records.
  • Device and support information: diagnostics, system and network details, logs, screenshots, activity information, browsing history, and device contents encountered as reasonably needed for authorized support. The information depends on the tool, configuration, and approved work. Our Data We Collect page describes this collection in more detail.
  • Communications: messages, emails, voicemails, call recordings, transcripts, and related summaries used to provide support, follow up, and document customer requests.
  • Website information: IP address, browser and device information, pages visited, referral information, approximate location derived from technical information, and interaction events. We and our website service providers use this information to operate and protect the site, troubleshoot problems, and understand usage.

We receive information from you, an authorized representative, your use of our website or support tools, and service providers involved in your request. Information we need varies by the service. Declining to provide necessary information may limit the assistance we can provide; ask us about alternatives.

Call recording, transcription, and AI-assisted summaries

We record and transcribe customer calls and use AI tools to help summarize customer calls, messages, and tickets. Communications, transcripts, and relevant ticket content may be processed by our communications, ticketing, and AI service providers for these purposes.

Automated transcripts and summaries can be incomplete or incorrect. Please tell us if a record misstates your request or approval so we can review and correct it. A generated summary is not a substitute for obtaining your authorization for work or charges.

If you prefer not to be recorded or have a communication processed by an AI tool, tell us before discussing sensitive details and ask about an alternative contact method. We will discuss available options and any service limitations. This website notice does not replace any recording notice or consent required at the time of a call, and it does not by itself authorize unrelated AI use.

Cookies and Google Analytics

Our website uses cookies or similar technologies for functions such as sessions, security, preferences, and analytics. We use Google Analytics through Site Kit, including enhanced measurement and interaction/conversion-event tracking, to understand site visits and use of website features. This can involve device/browser information, identifiers, page views, referral information, and interactions with links or forms. An IP address or cookie identifier may be personal information even if we do not know your name.

You can manage cookies through your browser. Blocking some cookies may affect site features. Google offers an Analytics opt-out browser add-on for supported browsers. See Google’s information about data from sites that use its services. These tools do not necessarily stop security logs, information you submit directly, or collection by a separately installed support tool.

We do not sell customer lists or provide customer support records to other companies for their own direct marketing. We use website analytics for measurement. Browser “Do Not Track” settings do not necessarily disable analytics or support-tool collection; use the available controls or contact us about your privacy choices. Any additional opt-out rights provided by applicable law remain available.

Who receives information

Authorized staff and service providers receive information as needed for their work. Provider categories include website hosting and security, forms and appointment scheduling, customer-account and ticket management, remote support and diagnostics, cloud storage, communications, transcription and AI assistance, and payment processing. For example, we use Syncro for customer/ticket records and Google Analytics for website measurement. Providers may process information in the United States or other countries where they operate.

We may share relevant information with a manufacturer, distributor, or repair partner when necessary for an authorized repair, warranty claim, or order. We may also disclose information when required by law or valid legal process, to protect people and systems, to investigate misuse, or to establish or defend legal claims. A business transfer may require disclosure subject to applicable law and existing privacy commitments.

We do not publish device-access credentials or customer support records for public use. Third-party sites and services you access directly have their own notices. When we provide services for an organization, its instructions and our service/data-processing agreements also govern information handled on its behalf.

Service messages and marketing choices

We use the contact information you provide to respond to your request and communicate about appointments, approvals, tickets, billing, and service. Providing a phone number or accepting service terms is not blanket consent to promotional texts or calls. Marketing communications require any separate consent applicable law requires.

You can unsubscribe from marketing email using its unsubscribe link or by contacting us. To stop text messages, reply STOP or contact us; for help, contact (719) 239-0477. Message frequency varies and message/data rates may apply. Tell us an alternative way to reach you for necessary service communications. Mobile opt-in information is not shared with third parties for their own marketing; service providers may process it to deliver communications and manage your choices.

Device access, sensitive information, and security

Close unrelated private material before a remote session or diagnostic capture. Tell us if a device contains regulated, confidential, or irreplaceable information before service, and provide only the access reasonably needed. Use a temporary device password when practical and change it after service. A support form or this notice does not establish a HIPAA business associate agreement or permission to disclose someone else’s confidential records.

We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information and restrict access based on service responsibilities. No website, cloud service, or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure. Information may need to be retained or disclosed in connection with a security incident as required by law.

Retention

Retention depends on the information and its purpose. Service, approval, billing, warranty, and communications records may be retained for ongoing support, accounting, dispute resolution, security, and legal obligations. Diagnostic files and credentials should not be provided beyond what the authorized work requires. Deletion requests may be subject to legal holds, required business records, service-provider limitations, and routine backup cycles. We will explain applicable limits rather than promise that every copy can be deleted immediately.

Your questions and privacy requests

Contact info@ccomputertech.com or (719) 239-0477 to ask what information we hold, request access or correction, request deletion, or discuss communication and processing preferences. Depending on your location, our activities, and applicable law, you may also have rights to obtain a portable copy, withdraw consent, or opt out of certain processing. This notice does not waive those rights.

We may need proportionate information to verify your identity and authority before releasing or changing records. We will respond within any applicable legal deadline and explain any lawful reason we cannot fulfill a request. You may ask us to review a denial by replying to our decision or emailing the same address. You may also contact the Colorado Attorney General or your relevant privacy regulator. Requests about an employer’s or another organization’s data may need to be directed to that organization.

Children and policy changes

Our website is not directed to children under 13. A parent, guardian, or authorized organization representative should arrange service for a child’s device. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate authorization, contact us so we can review and address it.

We will post revisions with an effective date and provide additional notice or obtain consent when required. Posting a new policy does not retroactively authorize a materially different use of previously collected information contrary to earlier privacy commitments. Also see our Terms and Conditions and support-data disclosures.
